Monthly Project for November 2007
Materials Needed:
- 2/3 Yard Fleece
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pillow Form or Poly Fill
Here is a quick and easy no-sew fleece pillow project. If you can tie a knot, you can make this pillow. We made our pillow in less than an hour, it was so easy! Great project that kids can help with too. Makes great gifts too!
Directions:
- Cut a square out of your fabric. We used a 2/3 yard piece of fleece and
then cut off the selvage edge and squared it. You can adjust size for a bigger
or smaller pillow. We used a 16x16 pillow form.

- Cut a four inch square out of each corner.
- Cut one inch strips around the entire fleece square. Do this for both pieces.

- Place both pieces of fleece wrong sides together and tie a knot with one
strip from the top layer and one from the bottom layer. Do this until you
have three sides tied.

- Insert your pillow form. Or you can use stuffing if you prefer.
- Finish tying till all strips are used. You can go back and re-tie each knot if you want to. For this project we tied two knots on each strip.
- Snuggle up with your new pillow and enjoy!
Happy Crafting!
