Spring is here! Add a touch of Spring to your home with a few bright throw pillows. We chose cheater quilt fabric for this quick n' easy throw pillow. A half yard (two squares) makes one pillow.
Directions:
- Fold fabric to match squares, pin in place, cut on fold.
- Trim outer edges 2" from "square" border.
- Place right sides together, matching squares (make sure both squares are facing the same direction), sew all sides leaving an 8" - 10" opening.
- Turn right side out, press.
- Top stitch along outer border, leaving an 8" - 10" opening
- Insert pillow or filling and finish top stitching around outer border.
- Hand sew outer opening close.
Optional:
Add trim to inner square border if desired - such as ribbon or lace. Can be sewn or glued in place. Pillow shown with lace trim on one side of the pillow and ribbon trim on the other side.
