Hawaiian Print Canvas

Reversible Canvas Floor Mat

Floor mats are a great way to change your decor with a minimal investment of time and money with a maximum return on decor and practicality. Choose any prints to match your room(s) of choice. These mats have many uses, just to name a few:

*Read through directions BEFORE starting any project
**Prewash both canvas pieces to allow for shrinkage

Materials Needed

Cutting

Place both canvas pieces (fabric #1 & #2) RS (right sides) together. Pin approximately 3" away from outside edges; trim off selvages, making sure it is removed from both fabric layers. Trim fabric ends.

Sewing

Mark 2" away from outer edge all the way around mat; topstitch along marking, pivoting at the corners and backstitch at the beginning & end.

Finishing

For Fringe: Cut raw edge approximately every 1/2" up to top stitching. Wash and dry mat. The fringe will become more prominent with each washing.

For Clean Edge: Turn each raw edge 1/4" to WS (wrong side) and topstitch together or separately. Finished size approximately 42" X 52".
